This cabin is 1296 square feet, and has four bedrooms and one bath, sleeping up to 12 people, at 6,000 feet in the Sierra right on Hwy 108 in Strawberry. The cabins at Rivers Resort have approximately 200-300 feet of Stanislaus River frontage, which is a short 75 yard walk from the cabin front door. There is a country store and a restaurant/bar within steps of the cabin. Rivers Resort has a large swimming pool available for use from May through October, and a large firepit area. A fisherman's paradise, you have access to multiple forks of the Stanislaus River, as well as Beardsley Reservoir and Pinecrest Lake. The resort town of Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge are one mile down Hwy 108 for boating, fishing, and snow skiing. There are limitless trails for exploring and off road driving. A true outdoor paradise. During winter, you can snowshoe and cross country ski right from the door of the cabin. It is a short 45 minute drive over Sonora Pass to Hwy 395, where you can access the West and East Walker Rivers, Bridgeport Reservoir, The Upper Owens River, Mammoth, and the June Lakes Loop.The front deck was recently reinforced and strengthened, with a new pad and stairs added. The interior of the cabin has been significantly modernized--the interior of the first floor of the cabin has new waterproof core floors, new paint, and a completely remodeled kitchen, with new appliances. It looks like a modern fresh cabin. Insulation was recently added under the first floor, dramatically reducing heating costs. This property can also be used as an income property, with rentals throughout the year, with the current nightly rate of $275. There is an onsite property management company that services the cabins when rented. The pool can be enjoyed in the summer months for 4 months at a rate of $75.00 per month.
