Water: The Salt Fork of the Brazos River runs through the ranch for nearly one mile and serves as a ranch boundary for another one mile. A spring fed creek, "Stinking Creek" also runs through the ranch for approximately one-half mile. This creek, unlike many in the area, runs water for the majority of the year.
Hunting/Recreation: Stonewall County has traditionally been known for good whitetail deer and quail hunting. Habitat on this ranch is very suitable for both. The river bottoms and creek on the ranch show a lot of game sign, and mule deer have been reported in the area in recent years.
