Spring Valley Ranch encompasses an approximate 228 acres of vacant land that is formulated by diverse terrain and topography. Along the bottom near the perimeter, the ranch includes a natural spring that produces an efficient amount of water for irrigation and stock water usage. As the terrain inclines upward, the land consists of thick oak brush hills with open meadows dispersed throughout the bench and atop the hill with densely covered drainages that feed back toward the bottom.From the top at an approximate 7200 feet, the ranch overlooks the surrounding valley and displays some remarkable panoramic views!

Located in GMU 13, a variety of big game animals including but not limited to elk and deer reside on the ranch and in the surrounding area for those wishing to satisfy their hunting dreams! Speaking of hunting, the ranch does qualify for the Landowner Preference Program for deer with over-the-counter elk tags available for private land only in 2nd and 3rd season. In addition, the nearby Routt National Forest that includes the well known Flat Tops is approximately 30 minutes away and has an abundant amount of small alpine lakes and streams with quality fishing opportunities, endless trails to navigate on, and many other opportunities for anyone that desires to explore the great outdoors!

Location

The small town of Hayden is located under10 minutes north of the ranch. Craig is approximately 30 minutes northwest of the property and provides many grocery stores, hardware stores, and restaurants. Steamboat Springs is located roughly 40 minutes northeast of the ranch and offers world class skiing, fine dining and lodging. For commercial air travel, Yampa Valley Regional Airport is conveniently located just outside of Hayden towards Steamboat, making the commute less than 20 minutes from the ranch.
