Spectacular! Where in New Mexico do you find excellent trout fishing from your own bridge. The Rio Penasco traverses the entire farm, you can hear it from the decks at the lodge. The ditch-irrigated orchard stretches through Joy Canyon along the northern part of the farm. The ranch has 3 acre feet of water rights for domestic and livestock use, as well as ditch irrigation which waters the orchard which contains apple, peach, pear, cherry, plum and apricot trees. The property is directly accessed from Highway 82 and is 6 miles (8 minutes) east of the small village of Mayhill and only 24 miles or 30 minutes from the ski area in Cloudcroft.
