Located in northcentral Pennsylvania, this outdoorsman's paradise is something unique to behold. Held by the same family for over 200 years, an exceptional property like this does not come along very often. Unlike many properties in the Pennsylvania mountains, this is not comprised of mostly steep walking terrain. It has mostly flat rolling ground with pure mountain streams initiating right here on the property making that water as clear and clean as possible. The 2 ponds are stocked with largemouth bass with elk and whitetail deer, turkeys, grouse and the occasional bear roaming its forests. There is a seven-bedroom lodge with pool table, big-screen tv, fireplace, woodstove, satellite for tv and internet, two bathrooms, two bars and a full kitchen. Knotty pine paneling and big game trophy's adorn the walls. The large fully covered porch provides a nice place to relax on the occasional rainy afternoon. The elk on the property are the result of generations of breeding from some of the largest bull elk known. We introduced a very rare white cow elk (not an albino) into the herd a few years ago. She has had 4 calves, 2 were white and 2 were brown. The white elk are very rare. 200" whitetail deer offspring were introduced decades ago to improve the already impressive genetics. The herds are maintained here by a 5 mile long, 10' tall, high-tensile game fence around the perimeter of the property. The vast majority of the property is forest with a few open areas. There is an excellent trail system making access easier for walking, horseback riding or using atvs. Whether you are wanting a hunting paradise, a retreat for photo safaris, amazing horseback riding or just a wonderful place to be with your friends and family, you will not find a better property for those activities.
