Timber Hunting Tract Near Helton Conservation Area

This hunting gem is proof that you don’t need a lot of ground to have awesome deer hunting! The vast majority of the property is gorgeous timber, including some marketable oak, walnut, cottonwood, and other tree species. The north end of the tract is mostly cedar thickets, featuring a trail network, water hole, and several areas that have been cleared out for food plots. If you’ve seen the aerials, then you know that this farm connects to a lot of big timber, which means a lot of deer and turkeys in the area! The Wayne Helton Memorial Wildlife Area is about 1.5 miles to the east for even more hunting opportunities, plus fishing and camping.
