WEEHAW PLANTATION
Weehaw is a beautiful riverfront plantation located near the historic seaport of Georgetown, South Carolina. The plantation is only a few minutes from downtown Georgetown at the confluence of two rivers; a meeting place of land and water teeming with wildlife.
The plantation covers 1028.6 acres with buildings and other improvements in excellent condition. The spacious one and one-half story owner's house is situated on the waterfront in a grove of live oaks. You can literally catch fish out of the back door. Brick walkways underneath the oaks wind through a centuries-old camellia garden to a charming cottage used as a spa with exercise rooms and changing areas. Across an open pasture and trellised vineyard is a state-of-the-art greenhouse and the plantation headquarters with an office, machine shop, and equipment sheds.

The stable is an eyecatcher. The beautifully designed structure has six stalls, feed and tack rooms, equestrian's lounge, groomsmen's quarters and a roof accented by a clock and bell tower. The stable overlooks pastures and a stocked fish pond.
A wonderful feature of Weehaw is the layout of the property. The house, gardens, fields, pastures and all improvements are located in the middle of property surrounded by woods and rice fields.
