Approximately 400 acres on the southern half of the ranch is in coastal Bermuda grass. The Northern half of the ranch transitions into river bottom with a mixture of Bermuda, native grasses and large hardwoods. Home

The 1,940 square foot, 3 bed/3 bath with bonus room ranch house was built in 1920. It was remodeled in the 1980s and provides comfortable lodging for ranch guests. The home overlooks the river pasture with great views to the North.

The ranch is cross fenced into four main pastures and three traps. A nice set of working pens sits near the center of the ranch near headquarters. Two large hay barns and a smaller equipment barn provide ample storage.

Agricultural Overview

The ranch's cattle grazing and hay operations are currently leased and the tenant would be interested in continuing this arrangement with a new owner. The north river bottom pastures are capable of running 135 cow/calf pairs. The southwest coastal field is used primary for hay and is capable of producing 3 round bales per acre with adequate fertilizer. The Southeast coastal field is used for precondition stockers and to rotate the cow herd.
