The deep blue hole on the south end still has water in it today, and in good times is believed to be 20' deep. Pray for rain to restore this treasure which runs for 2.5 miles along the eastern boundary of the property! There are 2 Carrizo water wells on the property. The north Carrizo well is believed to be apx. 300' deep with the pump being set around 260 feet. The well is run by a 1.5 HP pump and currently pumps apx. 10 GPM. This well provides water to all of the improvements, 3 water stations and 1 water trough. The south Carrizo well is reportedly apx. 320' and is run by a HP pump. This well currently provides water to 3 wildlife watering stations and 1 water trough, and is believed to pump around 6 GPM.

WILDLIFE: This ranch has exceptional wildlife due to the diversity of brush, tree cover, and fertile soils deposited over eons by the Nueces River. The ranch has produced some very large native whitetail bucks over the years including several over 170+/- Boone & Crockett, with the largest scoring over 192 B/C. Both Blue Quail and Bobwhite Quail are present on the property. Dove hunting is very good with birds utilizing water pockets in the Nueces after feeding in near by grain fields. With large trees up and down Mustang Creek and the Nueces River, roosting sites are plentiful and provide phenomenal turkey habitat. Other wildlife includes javelina, feral hogs, coyote, bobcats, other varmints and bird species too numerous to count.

VEGETATION: This ranch has excellent native brush diversity such as Blackbrush, guajillo, white brush, tasajillo, guayacon, prickley pear, persimmon, mesquite, granjeno and many more. This mixture of brush has necessary ingredients to grow large deer and carry abundance of game. Large oak trees, elm trees, hackberry trees, pecan trees are present throughout. Large mesquite trees can also be found.
