This ranch is located 21 miles southwest of Uvalde off of FM 481. From FM 481 the ranch is located 5 miles south down a deeded easement to the ranch gate on the eastern side. The ranch is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to Eagle Pass and a little over two hours from Downtown San Antonio.
Improvements:
The ranch has very little improvements but does include perimeter high-fencing and one water well. Roads have been and are also still in the process of being cleaned and opened up to allow for better visibility for hunting as well as more access throughout the ranch.
Wildlife:
Wildlife found on the ranch are typical of South Texas animals and include White-Tailed Deer, Feral Hogs, Javelina and Bobwhite Quail. The deer hunting on this ranch is great and 190 deer have been killed in recent years. The ranch is high-fenced and is currently under the Texas Parks and Wildlife MLD 3 program. This program allows for extended hunting seasons and hunting tags that are specifically assigned to the ranches harvest recommendations.
Water:
The ranch is watered by 3 stock tanks and one water well. The water well is not currently in working order but is on a solar panel system for power supply. The Maverick Lake is situated on the western border and is said to hold water extremely well, even through hard times of drought. The lake also has some great fishing in it as well. The two other tanks are located in the southern region and have excellent rainwater drainages supplying runoff to them.

Habitat:
The habitat on this ranch is second to none and is comprised of approximately 95% brush. The brush on the ranch provides ideal browse and cover for the deer. The high protein brush includes Guajilla, Cenizo, Granjeno, and Blackbrush. The brush on this ranch is ideal South Texas brush and has a great change in elevation. The higher elevation areas are made up of caliche hills with the lower elevation areas made up of good red and grey soils. The views extend for miles and points in both La Pryor and Uvalde can be seen approximately 10-20 miles away.
