Per the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, precipitation on this farm averages 7 8 inches per year. Soils on the farm primarily consist of Moxee Silt Loam and Ritzville Silt Loam with mild slopes throughout the planted and plantable acres. Elevation on the tillable portion of the farm ranges from 1150 to 1350 feet.
Water rights included with the property consist of a surface water allocation from the Roza Irrigation District and a ground water right accessed from wells on the property. The water for the farm is pumped into holding ponds then distributed to the crop. The farm is accessed via paved and gravel county and private roads.
