Great Hunting Property In Northwest Oklahoma

Great Hunting Property in a region known for big deer! Approximately 250 acres of this tract burned back in 2011, which left the majority of the property clear of everything but cedar-tree skeletons. Over the last 11 years, it rebounded immensely. The cover exploded, and now it’s hard to imagine what it looked like 11 years ago. The fire was a blessing. The new growth has been very conducive to deer habitat, from thick browse to excellent bedding cover. The cover is mixed with scattered sumac and plum thickets. The variety of hardwoods varies from Black-Jack Oaks, Shin Oak, Black-Locust to Elms. It now has a higher deer density than it ever has.
