The improvements include 3 cabins. The main clubhouse built around 1985 includes the large kitchen and entertainment area with a fireplace, a bunk house with 8 beds, a laundry room and a bathroom. The clubhouse also has a large screened in porch and a deck that extends into Penn Bay. Boats are tied up on the dock for easy access when you are ready to go to the woods.
A 1,700 square foot custom-built and fully furnished two-bedroom, one-bath cabin with a porch overlooking Penn Bay was built in 2006.
Another cabin was built to provide 4 private bedrooms and a bathroom if one is ready to escape the good times in the main clubhouse. In total the current set up includes 12 beds.
Hunters can easily hunt the flooded green timber on the 160 and 4 permanent duck blinds (3 of which have stove heaters) offer a comfortable alternative to wading in the woods or hunting out of a boat. A caretaker handles all of the clubhouse maintenance and maintenance of the duck blinds and other club owned items. Deer, squirrel and turkey are also plentiful on the property.
