During my property evaluation, I booted up two bucks and three does in different locations bedded in the tall grasses. There are zillions of beds and trails winding through the tall grasses. This is ideal sanctuary cover for deer of all ages. The owner commented that while sitting on the edge of the oak grove on the north side deer would pop up out of the grasses at any time during the day. For bow hunters, strategic planting of spruce and white pine funnel deer to your stand. As you can see on the pictures, he has killed some brutes and has photographed several live on camera living in part on this property. Some of these bucks are truly world class! This kind of hunting is long range shooting and tons of fun! The property also features a 10’ purpose built dirt mound as a backstop for long range target practice.
