This place is pretty sweet; when the landowner contacted me, and I pulled this place up on the map and turned on the 3D layer, I could not wait to look at this place. You access this property coming in off of Highway 14 onto Sportsman Road. This place is pretty sweet; when the landowner contacted me, and I pulled this place up on the map and turned on the 3D layer, I could not wait to look at this place. You access this property coming in off of Highway 14 onto Sportsman Road. You then continue onto the Lewiston Sportsman Club, take a left, and drive along the gravel road through the bottom into the mowed area in the middle of this property, where you will find a great area to set up camp with your camper or fish house. You will find roughly 1800' of the frontage of Peterson Creek flowing through the middle of the property and right along the area to set up camp. From the camp area, you will find a logging trail up to the south that will take you up to an opening in the timber that would be a dynamite food plot location due to the terrain features. You can adventure to the east along the top of this park-like ridge loaded with oak trees and many mature and ready for harvest. From the camp area, there is also a trail to cross the creek and follow the bottom almost back to the far West side of the property. On the creek's north side, two different draws have south-facing slopes. The property line sits off the tillable field in the northwest corner, southwest corner; due to the rolling terrain, these are some great areas to set up for deer hunt. There is a ton of space to hunt on this property; this place would comfortably track 6-8 people due to the terrain. The trail network is in pretty good shape, but if you had a dozer out, you could quickly clean up a couple and have good access to the northwest corner of the property. Water flows in the creek, and I witnessed some small trout in some of the pools; the landowner states that sometimes there are trout, and sometimes there aren't any. This is a unique property, and we rarely see properties in this area come up for sale. The property is not buildable as the camp area is in the 100-year floodplain.
