Zoning does not allow subdivision development on discontinued roads to ensure the area remains uniquely sparse. 1/4 century old cabin not was constructed to modern day residential building code/permitting process. A year round spring is by the cabin for water source. Fill-with-bucket toilet operates with holding tank and leach area. To find the premises, from RT 197 go 1.8 miles north to the Jct of Old Hall Rd that heads easterly (to the right, rock marked with blue Chevron). Continue 1,000 feet on Pole Bridge Rd to the wooden bridge. Continue 550 north past the bridge to the stonewall bound (both sides) access way on the right which is an old cart road to the land & dam/mill site. Land is just west of the 360 acre fabled estate "The Castle". If coming from the north property is 1/2 mile south of the 360 acre Solaire Family Nudist Resort (founded 1934, boundary trees marked with "Firing Range" signs).Google driving times to the wooden bridge: Worcester 43 minutes, Hartford 47 minutes, Providence 56 minutes.
