The River Refuge

122 surveyed acres on the banks of the Little Red River. Enjoy the benefit that comes from sitting right in between Raft Creek and Bald Knob National wildlife Refuge and the sanctuary. In fact, only river water separates this farm from Bald Knob refuge. It's evident from the trails, that the deer frequently cross the river likely seeking refuge from public ground hunters. Hence the name...The River Refuge. The private lake appears to be the remnant of an old inlet or maybe oxbox off the river before the levee was built. Its reported to have great fishing. Could also be used to store irrigation water or expanded to create a waterfowl sanctuary.

No programs exist on the farm. Its ready to be in ag production again or improved to be an incredible wildlife farm. Access is via gated deeded easement.
