The grain handling equipment includes an auger with swing away hopper for unloading hopper bottom trailers, a seed cleaner, three 600-bushel hopper bottom bins, a blender, a bagger and scales for loading 50-lb bags, a loader and scales for filling 2500-lb super bags, and a Roast-A-Matic Model 50 grain roaster, all served by a Hutchinson Grain Loop grain handling system to reduce the need for augers. The Roaster runs off natural gas and has a capacity of 50 bushels per hour. An auger with a swing-away hopper allows for the unloading of hopper-bottom trailers, and grain trailers and seed carts can be loaded in bulk from an overhead chute under the covered drive through. The 2-story office building has space for multiple uses, and houses the electronics for the commercial truck scales.

The land is located south of Pioneer, LA and has over 1000 feet of frontage on LA Hwy. 17, which is a widely-used north-south route from the Arkansas state line, intersecting with I-20 in Delhi to the south. There is a large open area of land next to the buildings that once served as the gins module yard, and offers plenty of room for expansion, or to build grain bins or other buildings. A commercial grain elevator operates in Pioneer offering a good source of raw grain, and many local farmers also have on-farm storage and could be potential suppliers. The seed cleaner and bagger has also been used to clean and bag wheat seed for farmers to plant.

This could be a very profitable business for someone willing to network with customers such as deer farms and hunting clubs.
