Wood College is a Cultural and Historical feature in Webster Co. With it's 35 acres, gym, auditorium, dormitories, chapel and the many other structures on the property, the possibilities for this property are endless. The grounds are well maintained and many of the buildings have had improvements and upgrades. The college dates back to 1886 and was a Methodist School. It has been and is being used for a variety of functions and events, such as weddings, receptions, retreats and other Christian events. It served as East Webster School for over two years. One of the buildings is now being used for the Webster County 911. It will qualify for Historical Grants/money and possible tax credits.
