This house needs to be saved! Typical to mid-19th century German connective architecture indigenous to our area, this house, most likely, was formed by putting two existing houses together. On the east exterior of the house, you can see two parallel gables where a Texas saltbox was attached to an existing 'L'-shaped house. This too is very typical of the period.
If you have a strong desire of finding a historic home for restoration, this is definitely it and the house cries out for your ownership! The interior demolition of poorly added and poor quality building materials is substantial. Once the demolition is complete, a house archiologist/detctive could have all the clues they need to put close to the original floor plan back together.
