Looking for solitude and privacy. This wonderful 3 season wilderness camp was built by outdoor author Bill Riviere in the late 60's. Several chapters in his book titled "Small Tracts And Cabins" are dedicated to the building of this cabin. He selected this spot for the privacy and solitude so he could continue his writing. This rustic camp sits on the banks of the Machias River in Maine Township T-25. The fishing, canoeing and hunting are incredible. The cabin features 2 bedrooms, large living room with wood stove and good size kitchen. The outhouse is not far from the cabin. This cabin was built on leased land owned by Penobscot Forest LLC. There are several thousand acres of land for your use near the cabin. You will be amazed by the wildlife. Come see what the Maine Wilderness is really like!
