In these lakes you can catch crappie, channel catfish, bluefill, and BIG bass. The northern pond also has a deep spring fed hole, and it has been stocked with rainbow trout in the past. The road system is good enough to trailer and launch a small boat with a trolling motor to fish around the small islands.
