Approximately 65 of the 102 acres was strip mined and reclaimed in the late 1980's.

The high ground was mined but the bottom land along over 6,000 feet of Cain Creek is all natural ground covered in mature hardwood timber.

The miners left 3 two acre ponds and 3 small duck ponds. I see ducks in the creek and/or on the ponds almost every time I visit the property.

Approximately 30 acres of the reclaimed land was harvested in the spring of 2018 and has since been almost completely reforested by mother nature.
