Native grasses bordered by state lands

Located about 20 miles north of Nashua, this 243 acres of alfalfa, retired CRP and native grasses is bordered by Porcupine Creek and State lands. Featuring cottonwoods, chokecherry bushes and ash trees, this is choice habitat for mule deer, whitetail deer, pheasant, and grouse. The land is approximately 76 acres of retired CRP, 50 acres of dryland alfalfa and 117 acres of native grasses. Thousands of acres of BLM lands are just on the other side of Porcupine Creek. Porcupine Creek is spring fed, runs year round and has stock water rights. Fort Peck Lake is nearby and features state record fishing opportunities.
