Where the Texas Hill Country begins giving way to the Trans-Pecos, just north of where Judge Roy Bean held court, lies this extraordinary 3,500 acre ranch. Four- plus miles of frontage on the aqua clear Pecos River, breathtaking hundred- mile vistas and productive native guajilla range make this unique property a rare find for the outdoorsman, naturalist, herdsman, and wise investor. Deep canyons and high bluffs account for elevation changes of 1475'- 1850'.

Good ranch roads provide access to the vega (sand bar) of the river in two- wheel drive vehicles. The majority of the river is wide and deep, providing excellent fishing, swimming, relaxing and, yes, boating. A rustic yet comfortable fishing camp is at the river's edge for overnight adventures. Other stretches of the river have fast flowing rapids for kayaking and tubing. Opposite the vega, on the outer curve of the river, shear rock bluffs rise hundreds of feet above the river.
Amenities include a modest three bedroom one bath home with a large sleeping porch, implement barn, kidding barn, working pens, and corral. Two windmills distribute water for wildlife and livestock throughout the ranch. Grama grasses, bluestem, native guajilla, Spanish dagger, ochotillia and catclaw are all found in substantial quantities. Outstanding stewardship of the native range has minimized intrusion of cedar.
The ranch has robust, huntable populations of whitetail and desert mule deer, blue quail, Rio Grande turkey, javelina, and predators. This stretch of the Pecos also affords excellent channel cat fishing. For the last fifty years this property has not been leased for hunting.
Located approximately 25 miles north of Langtry, 60 miles south of Ozona and 80 miles west-northwest of Del Rio.
