This country is appealing with hills and wide draws. Hilltop views give a panorama of rugged Texas Hill Country, with hillsides generally wooded. The tree cover includes liveoak, cedar, Texas persimmon, mesquite, littleleaf sumac, and hackberry, plus some Texas black walnut trees. Several features make this ranch a desirable hunting and recreational ranch. All the neighbors are very large, the smallest being 11,000 acres and the largest is 30,000 acres. The ranch has plenty of cover for wildlife, including good browse species. In addition, it is very secluded at the end of the road and it has identified Indian mounds. Photos are available of quality whitetail deer being produced on the ranch. There are two wells on the ranch, both with electric submersible pumps.
