A ~200-acre irrigated field sits just east of the ranch compound, and can be used to grow anything from coastal bermuda to deer crops. The southern third of the ranch is dense brush transected by a well-designed mosaic of senderos, openings, and ranch roads. Gaujillo, guayacan, mesquite, blackbrush, whitebrush, huisache, cenizo, prickly pear, Spanish dagger, a host of forbs, and good grasses create great wildlife habitat.
Wildlife/Hunting/Fishing
Huntable populations of bobwhite quail and mourning dove are evident as one drives through the ranchs good road system. An intensely-managed herd of ~150 white-tailed deer adds tremendous value to the 3P Ranch.
Two large ponds and a dove pond make up the ranch's surface water, all fed by one of the two large wells servicing the ranch.
