The land is mostly covered by planted loblolly pines in three age classes. Trees were established in 1997 on about 31 acres, in 2004 on about 27 acres, and in 2011 on about 26 acres. All planted pine areas have been fertilized. The two older stands have been thinned.
Mature hardwood and pine, totaling about 18 acres, runs along Cane Creek and other, smaller waterways and also in patches around gullied areas. These trees vary in age but are generally more than 40 years old. Red and white oaks, yellow poplar, sweetgum, and red maple are common.
