Sealed Bid Sale - February 19, 2010

The Crane City Tract is described as the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 8, Township 17 South, Range 13 West, Union County, Arkansas. The tract has a very rolling topography with fine sandy loam soils that offer good all weather logging opportunity and good pine timber growth potential. The tract has been recently clear-cut harvested in the fall of 2009 leaving an open site that could be site prepared in the coming season. The rolling topography and open ground conditions offer great hunting opportunities with open visibility across the hills.

Soils consist of predominantly Sacul and Bibb fine sandy loam soils, which are very well suited for pine timber production and offer a site index of 90 feet (base age 50) per the NRCS Web Soil Survey.
