The Newell Tract is described as the W ½ of the NW ¼ and the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 21, Township 18 South, Range 16 West in Union County, Arkansas. The property is easily accessed on Wesson Road, which crosses the northwest corner of the property and offers several hundred feet of frontage.
The tract consists predominantly of open timberland which was clear-cut in early 2008. The majority of the tract lies in the bottomland of Cornie Bayou, with several tributaries passing through the tract which has timbered buffers left that offer good wildlife habitat. An area of higher ground is located at the highway access point. The tract offers great opportunity for hunting and recreation close to El Dorado, and offers potential for long term timber growth.

Research Parcel InformationFrom the Highway 82 bypass around El Dorado, take Highway 15 (Haynesville Highway) southwest for approximately 5 miles to Wesson Road. Turn left on Wesson Road and continue approximately 1.2 miles to the tract. Most of the tract is located on the east side (left) of Wesson Road, but a small corner of the property is located on the west side (right). The tract is well marked on the north and west boundaries with yellow and red boundary line paint. A Kingwood Land for Sale sign and pink Kingwood flagging mark the general location of the tract at the road.
