Camping, kayaking, cat-fishing, deer hunting, duck hunting, hog hunting, "frog-gigging", boating, bow-fishing, alligator gar fishing....the list of what you can do with this property is endless!
River properties do not get more accessible than this! Install a boat ramp with relative ease on the 140+ yards of river frontage to open up access to miles of this remote section of the Neches River in just a minute or two. The nearest public boat ramps are approximately 50 miles up river at HWY 59 and 20 miles down river at FM 255, this portion of the Neches truly is special. Large catfish can routinely be caught (see photos above of fish caught in just a day). The amount of hog and deer tracks on the West side of the property (along Greenwood Creek) is unbelievable. Even with it being close to HWY 69, this property would still be an excellent hunting property. Greenwood Creek is a year-round,...

Even with it being close to HWY 69, this property would still be an excellent hunting property. Greenwood Creek is a year-round, sandy bottom, crystal clear creek. In the winter, the river backs this creek up several hundred yards, providing top-notch channel & blue-cat fishing. I have also personally saw a 7+ foot alligator gar swimming in this back-water.
Few things compare to camping and spending an evening on the riverbank. This could be done with ease on this property, with newly improved roads providing easy access via car or truck to the riverbank. There are also several locations that would be perfect to build a camp house. Electricity is accessible and this property has no restrictions.
The kayaking potential cannot be overlooked. I have personally kayaked down river from this property to the FM 255 boat ramp several times. Each trip was easily the most memorable experience I have had in East Texas.
The Angelina National Forest is directly across the river, and stretches for miles down river. This provides access to some of the most untouched areas of the National Forest to hunt in just a short boat ride. The property is also located only 15 minutes to Lake Sam Rayburn and 7 minutes to Colmesneil TX.
If you have been looking for a hunting property, family weekend get-away, recreational property or anything in between; they don't get much better than this!
