The East Front Ranch and Farm is productive, scenic, wild, flexible and rural. The 10,000+/- acres lie in two blocks -- an almost 3,000 acre farm at lower elevations and a 7,500+/- acre rangeland block on the mountain -- 32 miles apart. From being able to run 800 head of cattle with no farming, to cropping 2,300+/- acres of dryland and running 325 head of cattle, flexibility is assured. This is all set against a backdrop of the dramatically scenic 8,000-foot peaks of the eastern front of the Rocky Mountains, six miles away and 4,000 feet above. Elk, deer and grizzlies roam the mountain while antelope, whitetail and pheasant make the farm home. It is rural, with town 18 miles away (population 2,500), but full services and commercial flights are within an hours drive. Four homes plus barns, shops, sheds and corrals are included in its full compliment of improvements.
