Access to the Bee Bar Ranch (north and south parcels) is via an improved one-mile Forest Service Road upgraded in accordance with a US Department of Agriculture Forest Service Special Use Permit granting the Bee Bar Ranch the right to plan, survey, design, construct, re-construct, improve, and maintain this access road.  The FS road was elevated 12-inches above grade providing year-round access.  The South parcel has been recently surveyed-off of a larger 640-acre Forest Service in-holding conveying unrestricted easement for a road and utilities (electricity and Internet) extending from the 640-acre Northwest corner along the west property boundary to the South parcel.  The Kit Carson Electricity  Cooperative connected the larger Bee Bar Ranch to the Tres Piedras power grid and in 2020-21 this system was upgraded providing hard-wired Internet service.

The topography of the South parcel is level to slightly rolling with a good combination of pinon and juniper tree cover, native grasses, and sagebrush.  The South parcel provides several possible building sites providing the future owner a place to construct a home for vacations, year-round living, or as a get-away retreat.  During the early 1990’s, approximately 120-acres of the Big Sagebrush cover were disc-plowed and re-seeded with (7) varieties of native grass providing a decent amount of forage for a few horses or other livestock.  The perimeter of the 640-acre Bee Bar Ranch is fenced with (5) strand barbed wire.

The Bee-Bar Ranch is located within Game Management Unit 50, the larger ranch has historically been issued (2) Landowner elk vouchers, which the North and South parcel owners should jointly be able to keep active and share, or individually apply separate Landowner elk vouchers.

There are numerous nearby public access points within the Carson National Forest offering miles of trails for the ATV enthusiast, mountain biking, hiking, mountain and rock climbing, etc.  The drive to Taos is about 45-minutes, 20-minutes to the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa, and 60-minutes to Santa Fe.  All the amazing features of life in Northern New Mexico are within easy distances from the Bee Bar Ranch.
