The Herman Estate Farm consisting of 320+/- acres was historically used to produce alfalfa and grass mix hay. The owner installed fencing that formed four small pastures that are used to rotate cattle for grazing each fall. An older Zimmatic center pivot with 7 towers is used to irrigate 90 acres. Irrigation canals lie on the northeastern side of the farm to flood irrigate an area of 60-70 acres. 155 acres of water rights will transfer with the sale of the property.
In 2022 a three-way feed was planted on 30 acres of the 90 acres. Cattle are grazing on the farm until late fall.
