Charles Springs is located approximately 5 miles South of Dowling Park. This County Park consists of 5 acres of land along the Suwannee River and has been designated as a historic site. The small shallow spring has a diameter of about 25 feet and a depth of 2 10 feet. The area is heavily wooded and features a nice bluff overlooking the Suwannee River. There is a one lane, paved boat ramp and parking area and wooden steps leading down to the spring. The park is also along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail route from White Springs to the mouth of the Suwannee at the Gulf of Mexico.

At Hilltop Farms you will find 4 twenty acre parcels. The properties are completely cleared except for a heavy tree line along the rear of each parcel. Electricity is available to the front of the property. For water and sewer, you would need to install a well and septic tank. The properties are zoned 1 home per 5 acres. Each parcel has road access on a county maintained dirt road. Hilltop Farms is less than a mile from the nearest paved road. There is no requirement or timetable to build. However when you decide to build it must be 750 square feet or larger.
