Whitetail Draw Ranch is a perfect sized hunting ranch located in the southeastern quadrant of Sutton county. At 800 +/- acres, this ranch has a varied terrain with nice hilltops and grassy valley land. Elevations range between 2,200+/- feet to 2,300+/- feet with long views from the hill tops and nice draws in the bottom land. Phenomenal cover with a healthy array of live oaks, juniper trees, mesquite, cacti and good native grass cover the area. There are two water wells, one located at the headquarters, and the second a windmill, strategically placed further in to the ranch providing water to the wildlife. Some older pens are located near the windmill back when this ranch was part of larger cattle ranch. Today the ranch is under a wildlife exemption, and is loaded with free-roaming game including whitetail deer, axis deer, turkey, dove and hogs. There is a particularly strong whitetail presence and turkey population within the boundaries of Whitetail Draw Ranch.

IMPROVEMENTS:

The headquarters, situated near the entrance of the ranch, includes a hunters cabin built in 2000, with electricity and water onsite. Another smaller building close by that serves as a game room with a poker table, pool table and shuffle board table.

Water well located near the headquarters. Also, a windmill which services a concrete pila.

WILDLIFE:

Abundant free-roaming game including whitetail deer, axis deer, turkey, dove and hogs.

LOCATION:

Located approximately 22 miles southwest of Roosevelt off County Road 314. Access through a deeded easement on Private Road 3394 approximately 2.2 +/- miles.
