Just a short distance away from the Talcott Post Office, turn onto Barger Springs Road RT 17 (that crosses the railroad track and the river bridge); travel Barger Springs Road for 4/10 mile; turn right to continue on Barger Springs Road; travel mile; as Barger Springs Road begins a sharp curve to the left, stay almost straight ahead but slightly right onto Bacon Falls Road; travel Bacon Falls Road (making the sharp curve to the right to travel along the river) for 1.1 miles; the cabin is on the left at the end of the road.
