The nearby historic Log Cabin Graham House is located on the West side of the Greenbrier River. The Graham Ferry was once located here on the Greenbrier River. The Graham Ferry (community of Lowell) would have transported goods and travelers across the Greenbrier River. Mule teams, horses carts and wagons traveling into the Wolf Creek Area or toward what is now Hinton and Sandstone. The old Ferry Crossing has long since been replaced by bridges, roads and Amtrak. Trains still pass by the property on their journey.

The Grahams Ferry earthen grade is still visible on the East side of the Greenbrier River and is used to this very day as the River Access for the Fishtales Cabin at the mouth of Kellers Creek as shown in the photo gallery. A perfect spot to walk down to the river along the same ground that early pioneers passed over. Easy take in and out for Kayaks, Canoes and little swimmers. A natural shoal in the river created a deeper area in the water here for the Ferry. The shoal nowadays is a gentle rippling slide on the river. This shallow area near the shoal and the ferry grade has often been a favorite place for river baptisms.

If you are ready for fun in the sun, a swim in the cool water, watching the exciting train or fishing for Walter the Legend trophy fish, then the FishTales Cabin is your destination. Relaxing times, casting a line, porch setting, campfires and storytelling. Boathouse with lofts and power (16 x 23) can be used for sleeping area/recreation space. Pool table and refrigerator convey in the boathouse.
