The ranch is approximately 1.5 hours from Abilene, 2.5 hours from Lubbock, 3 hours from Midland, 3 hours from Fort Worth and 3.5 from Dallas. Stonewall County airport (T60) has a 4,000 ft paved runway located just outside of Aspermont, approximately 25 minutes from the ranch.

The western portion of the ranch is dominated by a series of canyons with thick cover great for hunting.
