The Rocking JR River Ranch is located in the scenic Stillwater River Valley, 8 miles west of Absarokee, Montana. Containing an estimated 1,382 deeded acres, of which approximately 100 acres is flood irrigated, the ranch has over one-quarter mile of unfettered access to the Stillwater River, one of Montanas premiere trout fisheries. The river separates the 56 acre riparian area where the improvements are located from the 1,382 acres of native grass which rises in elevation to allow for the magnificent views of the Beartooth Range. The improvements are appropriate in size and style for the ranch including a lovely one-level home on the river and a meticulously refurbished cabin for guests.
