Some sections of the 1,000’+/- of shore frontage would be considered wetland/backflow from the pond. There is an old woods trail that meanders for about 0.3 miles to the to the old RR/Recreation Trail. From the RR/Recreation trail it is a short distance to Douglas Pond. Douglas Pond is part of the Sebasticook River. The pond evolves just north of the subject property on the river and then just south of the property converts back into the river. Douglas Pond is considered warm water and is estimated to be around 150 acres in size and about one mile long and 1,700’ wide. The Interconnection Trail System (ITS 84-snowmobile trail) also is utilized as an ATV trail in the summer. From this trail system, accessible from the camp, you can travel the State!
