Magdalena, NM (Socorro County)

Loaded with history the Rosedale Mine's history dates back to 1896 when it was first patented as the Great London Lode and Rothchild Mines and Millsites. Remnants of the old mine and mining village are visible through out the property. While the mine tailings have been reclaimed, Recent assays indicate there is still gold, silver, and other minerals that could be reclaimed. With the Rosedale Canyon on the south end and rolling to steep terrain to the north, the property has mostly a south easterly slope. The Rothchild Miningsite is located 2 1\/2 miles to the west. Further research would need to be done but current documents indicate that 52 miners inches of Pre-1907 water rights may convey.

Wildlife on the property includes big game hunting and viewing opportunities for elk, mule deer, and antelope and plenty of small game, birds, and other wildlife. Public land access to US Forest Service.
