How the Cyber Rain irrigation System works: Once you enter certain parameters (max monthly temperature, what hours you want irrigation to occur, the nearest internet weather station, etc.) the system changes the following days irrigation schedule depending the temperature and humidity. The best part of that it is connected to a water flow meter so, if there is a leak, it shuts off that valve, sends a message to your cell phone and starts the next irrigation block. You can reset or clear the error message from your phone. When youre traveling, if you receive a leak message, you will know to call the vineyard manager or one of the neighbors to check it out and/or repair the leak. You can also start the system up from your phone. You can also see reports of how many hours each block ran each day. It also knows if an irrigation solenoid valve fails to open or close or shorts out, or has a broken wire and sends you a message. The Seller currently has the irrigation scheduled to run at night (Seller is on PG&E time-of use electric rates, and he buys power at night for $.15/kWh and sells solar power back to PG&E at $0.35/kWh).As of the end of July 2015 the Seller has Credit PG&E bill for the past few months. The Cyber-Rain phone app is free, and the desk top application runs on any PC and can be transferred to the new owner easily.
THE PUMP HOUSE:
