To top it all off the scenery on the ranch is truly breathtaking due to the picturesque Colorado landscape and the stunning Flat Top Mountains. A good trail system within the deeded acreage and BLM acreage makes it easy to get around the ranch and adjoining BLM, glassing for wildlife or watching an evening sunset. Elevations on the ranch range from 7,000ft to 8,200ft offering good stands of aspens, mountain meadows, heavily covered oak brush hillsides and incredible rock rim formations. Views up here of the Flat Tops and the Williams Fork Valley are nothing short of breathtaking, especially come fall time. All seasons are special at the ranch but none quite like fall when the aspen groves are blazing orange and the elk are running ridges and producing bugles you can hear from miles away. When the snow starts to fly, it commonly provokes 1000’s of elk to migrate to valley floor followed by dispersing into the ranch and adjoining BLM. The area is known to be a critical wintering range for one of the largest elk herds in the state.
ImprovementsSituated just a shortly distance from the year round maintained County Road, the 2,267 square foot cabin boasts 4 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 12 people – perfect to accommodate big families or a large group of hunters. A handful of springs throughout the property have been developed and piped to create wildlife watering holes.
RecreationPerched up overlooking one of Colorado’s most productive hunting valleys, the Natali Ranch offers some of the best all-around hunting, for it’s size in all of Colorado. Straddled between two very large parceled ranches, the elk herds environment is extremely well protected from pressure, allowing significant resident herds to stay year-round and producing mature bulls each and every year. Located in Game Management Unit 13 which is an over the counter elk unit (meaning anyone can get a tag) for archery and 2nd/ 3rd rifle. Other seasons are very easy to draw tags and are often found on the leftover portion of the draw. Elk tags from archery through late season are highly successful and you will always have elk on the ranch or BLM. Lets not let the elk hunting overshadow the very good mule deer, bear, and cat hunting the ranch similarly offers. The ranch has produced some very good mule deer and cats over the years. Landowner tags for deer are obtainable each year and produces some quality mature bucks. Natali Ranch has been extremely well managed over the last 10 years, setting the new owner up for success. Additional, fishing opportunities are very close by along the Williams Fork river, known for its healthy brown trout population.
