This excellent tract of upland bird habitat is situated within the majestic rolling hills of Eastern Rooks County Kansas. Upon first viewing this property, it was clearly evident that this is the type of land that holds large numbers of pheasant and quail. The waterway on the western edge of the property is overgrown with tall grass and lined with some large trees. It runs into a patch of thickets toward the center of the property that exploded with pheasants when I first walked the property. When I visited this property in early September it was loaded with doves as well.
