The ranch has historically received 1 mature bull tag and 1 antlerless as a base and 1 mature bull tag, 1 antlerless tag and one either sex tag as an incentive for providing fencing and water improvements for the wildlife, bringing this to a total of five elk tags annually. For mule deer, the ranch has received 2 landowner buck mule deer tags. Additionally Largo Creek Ranch plays host to a variety of small game wildlife.

The ranch is in the renowned Rio Arriba County, which holds the title as the largest contributor of Boone and Crockett Mule deer in New Mexico.

The landscape is rich in forage incorporating sage brush, galleta, blue gramma grass and needle and thread that substantially supports the thriving wildlife of the area. Plenty of foliage from Pion and Juniper trees which provide additional sustenance and cover in the landscape. Largo Creek is a seasonal creek which provides water to the two stock ponds for wildlife. The topography consists of a valley floor and rolling hills decorated with sage, juniper, and pion.

The ranch provides a 25-acre food plot and 3 wildlife stock ponds making it an ideal habitat for elk and mule deer. A two track road system runs throughout the ranch allowing easy access. There is also one elevated box blind a 4.84 miles of boundary fence.
