About Phillip Dodd

My fascination with land began in childhood, growing up on 40 acres near Smiley, Texas. Though others might have seen it as modest, to me it felt like an expansive 1000 acres, igniting a profound passion for hunting and fishing that would shape my life ahead. After graduating from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, I spent over 20 years as a retail pharmacist in North Texas. When my sons were young, I was determined to instill in them a love for the outdoors, prompting my search for a property to purchase. Eventually, I acquired 50 acres in Grayson County, TX, sparking a journey of acquiring and improving properties across Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio. I discovered a deep satisfaction in working on and enhancing the land, alongside my enjoyment of hunting. There's a special connection that comes with owning your own piece of land. In 2017, I made the decision to retire from pharmacy and leverage my firsthand experience in land transactions to assist others in achieving their dreams of land ownership. Whether guiding a new landowner in purchasing their first 40 acres or aiding a family in selling a cherished ranch, I bring to each client the same level of expertise, diligence, and commitment.
