Multiple hotels and restaurants are located in and around the Elkins area, which will provide opportunities to rest and refuel after an adventurous day of exploring the tract. Access to the property is from a dirt and gravel road that traverses through the Chapman Tract which adjoins the northwest end of the Davis Tract. Additionally, there are multiple timber harvest roads that provide ATV or hiking access throughout the tract. The tract also has the opportunity to provide future income through the harvesting of timber. The current timber inventory shows approximately 417,900 bd.ft. of timber volume. The most prevalent tree species found on the tract are red maple, chestnut oak, sugar maple, red oak, and tulip (yellow) poplar.
