Stunning mountain top property overlooking beautiful Sardis Lake loaded with wildlife. Umbrella Rock Ranch gets its name from the spectacular rock formations scattered throughout the property. Located on Flagpole Mountain, this ranch consists of huge terrain variations from flat creek bottoms, to gently rolling hills, to steep drainages. The views to the north overlooking Sardis Lake are breathtaking as well as the views of the rolling mountains to the South. One of the drainages is full of enormous boulders creating many interesting rock formations along with some tranquil waterfalls. There are several creeks scattered throughout the property with pools that will hold water during some of the driest weather. Unlike most of the property in this area the timber has not be harvested in many years. Consisting primarily of oak (white, post & black jack), hickory and pine with nice variations of open timber to dense thickets. There is an abundance of wildlife made up of deer, turkey, hogs and bears. There is a nice trail system throughout the property which can be enjoyed on foot, ATV or horseback. There are some awesome locations for a remote cabin getaway overlooking the lake.  Access to the property is by an old rock road that was once used to access the Flagpole Mountain Lookout. The road is steep and rough, so if you only have a 2-wheel drive vehicle, I would suggest staying home.  However, if you are a serious hunter or an adventurous outdoorsman, once you make the 8 mile, 1 hour trek up the mountain, stunning beauty awaits you.
