With increased animal density and lush habitat, the ArkValley River Ranch offers fantastic hunting opportunities for waterfowl, turkey, whitetail deer, and even elk. Located in Game Management Unit 128, the ranch qualifies for a Landowner deer tag and Over-The-Counter options for elk. Waterfowl hunting does not get much better with 3/4 +/- miles of river, and a pond, with an island along the river that adds to the exceptional waterfowl hunting.
LOCATION
ArkValley River Ranch is 8 miles West of Fowler, 23 miles East of Pueblo, 70 miles Southeast of Colorado Springs, and 140 miles Southeast of Denver. There is a daily jet service into Colorado Springs and Denver International Airport, as well as a local landing strip in Pueblo.
AMENITIES
About 35 miles west of the ArkValley River Ranch is Pueblo State Park and Reservoir. Lake Pueblo rated a fishing "hot spot," provides over 4,600 surface acres of water, 60 miles of shoreline and almost 10,000 acres of land. Water recreation includes sailing, motor boating, waterskiing, river tubing, and prime fishing. Boaters choose from two full-service marinas and boat ramps. Land recreation includes hiking, biking, picnicking, and diverse nature exploration.
